One day our friends at Lextant challenged us with a bit problem- they needed to find a quick way to collect data from people via an on the phone survey. The budget was tight and they couldn’t afford a costly service that would likely over complicate what they wanted or under deliver.
Our answer- let’s just build one? Harnessing the power of Twilo’s API, we built Whisker, a simple DIY phone survey builder that works with either phone recorded prompts or with computerized voices. Assign it to a phone number and bam done!! Its kind of addictive.
Whisker was a blast to create. Our team really enjoyed working with the Twilio API and our partners at Lextant we’re impressed with the rapid turn around simple idea. Lextant has since acquired the Whisker platform and put it in their research tools division.
