In 2018-19, a learning-based technique performed natural language processing operations, answering questions, text completion, reading compressions, summarizations, etc. This technique known as GPT-2 was developed at Open AI. The goal was to perform this task with as little supervision as possible.

This means they unleashed them to read the internet to learn during this process. The AI was given many Amazon reviews with one goal in mind, for it to be able to generate new reviews or continue reviewing a given one. But the unexpected happened, the finished neuron network used new neurons to further analyze these reviews to understand its sentiments.  They noted that the neuron network has not only built up the knowledge to make reviews but also it could tell the sentiment of the reviewer.

This means the AI continued to recognize the positive and negative views in a review. If we know the review is positive from a small snippet, then lesser time is needed to do our job.

The GPT-2 was trained on the English language and grammar to complete the sentences and know multiple topics that it could discuss very well. It could suggest its views on any topic with stated facts that could be explained to a 5-year-old and could translate the economic newspaper into a history lesson.

 

 

The release of GPT-3 is even more exciting. The increased size of the neuron network makes it much better than the previous versions of GPT.
